In The First Minutes Of Tomb Raider, Lara Sticks Stuff up Her Tomb

Square Enix launched Tomb Raider today and the internet saw that it was good. The reboot of Lara Croft and in addition her origin story is lauded by several publications. Our short time with it so far has been a mixture of few, shallow lows and many highs. However, there was one instance that caught us off guard for a moment.

In this new, more realistic rendition of the heroine’s adventure, we’re treated with all manners of lifelike elements, such as fire flowing to objects and naturally bouncing hair. Still, in the first few minutes of the game, Lara also does something rather odd. We’ll break here for a spoiler warning, though it’s in the first minutes and doesn’t really reveal anything.

Are you still here? Awesome; then we can press on. When Miss Croft finds her first items, she proceeds to stash them for later. However, her skintight outfit doesn’t leave room for much, but still she manages to store these items, well, somewhere. Here’s how it looks exactly.

Hilarity is completed when the following shot is shown from her back and reveals her still tightly wound pants around her body. She even has to tack the radio on her belt area, because there’s just no room. Where did these items go to? Is there some magical land Lara Croft can access? Maybe she was meant to be an adventurer all this time.
