One of the many games passing through our channels right now is vampire stealth action game Dark. It’s sneaking around for the beasts with sharp teeth. It really peppers in the stealth portion of the game; even making combat completely subject to it. Together with an array of different vampire powers to unlock, there’s a ton of ways to play this interesting game.
However, if playing has taught me one thing, it’s that there’s also a ton of ways to play the game wrong. For all the freedom open stages present, there is a distinct amount of funneling going on that can and probably will become stupidly annoying. What follows is a playthrough session where I remain stuck on the same 1 screen for half an hour, trying to solve what looks like a simple problem. I assure you that it’s not as easy as it looks. Also, every room in this game is built up in a similar fashion. I hope your nerves are steeled if you want to play Dark. Enjoy this gameplay commentary.
