Expansions don’t stop in the world of The Sims 3, which is why EA is preparing two more additions for the game this fall. First, the game will receive a pack called Movie Stuff, then we’ll get Into The Future.
In Movie Stuff, players will be able to branch their story in 3 ways. Themes will vary from a Western vibe, comic book stories or gothic horror settings. Each comes with their own set of goodies, of course. This pack will be available on September 10, 2013. You can see a trailer for the Western stuff below, as well as screenshots down the page.
With Into The Future, The Sims will go on a ride resembling that of The Jetsons, more than anything else. Still, here it will be possible for characters to go forward in time and meet their own ancestors, though this may have consequences for the Sims back home. You don’t need a lesson in ethics though, Mister I-am-my-own-grandpa. We’ll just give you more videos and screenshots below. Also, you can expect this addition to arrive on October 22, 2013. Preorders get you a Quantum Power Pack, whatever that is.
We’ve been keeping you updated on all things Sims lately, so why not assist you with this info on The Sims 3: Dragon Valley? Expanding ever further, this theme of EA’s best-selling game is going back to the Middle Ages once more. You can catch a glimpse in this announcement trailer.
If that doesn’t suffice, we’ll provide you with some screenshots, as is customary. A release date for The Sims 3: Dragon Valley is set for May 30, 2013 in Europe. Players will be able to add theatres, day spa’s and several tournament tents to their world. Also, there be dragons, but that’s an obvious one.
Yet another expansion for The Sims 3 is in the making called Island Paradise. Publisher EA announced that this additional content will drop on their digital service Origin on June 28, 2013.
This time, Sims will take the adventure to unseen waterfronts, where they can soak up the sun on a tropical beach, dive to unknown depths or even manage an entire resort. Naturally, the whole comes with a stack of new materials set in the proper theme. It’s perfect for those that won’t want to wager if the weather will improve by the release date. A short clip and some assets come with the announcement.
Tomorrow, EA won’t only bring out the highly anticipated SimCity, it will attach to that an expansion for The Sims 3. This pack is called The Sims 3: University Life and add a smartphone to connect to the hip crowd and add more hipsters themselves as well. Three subcategories of people will separate jocks, nerd and rebels, whose influence will help players in their future career. The latter can also be achieved by graduating, if you can handle all the social interaction, wild parties, nighttime fun and still study enough to pass exams.
Here are a bunch of pictures for you to gawk at. Feel free to comment if you’ll tune in to the latest Sim installments.
Well, this guy wins the douche award.
