Sega announced that its Beta for Football Manager 2014 is now accessible to anyone who preordered it. No matter where the preorder came from, you should receive a digital code to download the game through Steam.
Content included in this Beta version are the default Career mode, as well as Football Manager Classic. It may, however, contain some omission that will be added upon the game’s full release, on October 31, 2013. Installing the game should take about 2Gb of space.
Additionally, Sega announced that, in a rare case of leniency, the Beta version will actually be playable until November 4, 2013 and so a few days past the release date. Then again, the game should also automatically update to the full version, so this would only apply to people who cancel their preorder and would like a little more time to think things through.
Preorder incentives for Demonicon on PC have been revealed. Those who choose to buy the roleplaying game with the extensive lore from The Dark Eye will get an in-game item, as well as some digital content.
Characters will be able to wield a War Hammer dubbed “Tourada.” For other elements, the purchase will come with a 16-page digital artbook, as well as an MP3 file for the main theme song, plus an additional remix. These artistic extras will be packed in the game’s installation folder.
Demonicon is part of that very European look among RPGs, with similar games like the Arcania series or Risen. It will later arrive on consoles.
Dennation, the developer behind Hotline Miami, announced that it will donate one of its weapons to the Shadow Warrior remake that will release on September 26, 2013 for PC. To fit the latter’s oriental style, the slashing katana from Hotline Miami will become available to those who preorder their Shadow Warrior copy as the special edition.
Steam has the original Shadow Warrior available for free, with a deluxe version for a moderate price. However, the remake will come with sparkly new graphics and it’s being produced by Flying Wild Hog, which previously also made the shiny Hard Reset shooter.
Both Hotline Miami and Shadow Warrior have the same publisher, namely Devolver Digital. We’re absolutely a fan of more crossover events such as these occurring.
Developer Full Control, also responsible for the free-to-play game Frontline Tactics, has announced preorders for Space Hulk. This PC game, also coming to iOS devices, is a direct adaptation of the board game from Games Workshop’s Warhammer franchise in the same name.
Those that preorder the game at a price of €27.99 will receive two pieces of exclusive downloadable content (DLC). One is a banner usable in multiplayer sessions and the other is a Genestealer skin, applicable in singleplayer.
Space Hulk will arrive on PC this August 15th. It features the Sin of Damnation campaign from the board game, which pits the Space Marine Blood Angels faction against alien Genestealers. Here’s a trailer.
Publisher of strategy titles Paradox Interactive has given a release date for its flagship title, Europa Universalis IV, which will land on PC on August 13, 2013. More so, preorders have started already and if deep strategy is your thing, you’ve probably already taken out your wallet.
A regular version of the game costs $39.99, while the Digital Extreme version is priced at $44.99, but does come with a bunch of additions. A Star and Crescent adds Muslim events, a Music Pack adds 3 tracks and a Horsemen Unit Pack adds 12 cavalry models for Eastern nations.
Additionally, each preorder comes with 11 extra infantry skins, with more preorder incentives to be revealed later on. There’s also a short hype trailer.
