Sega announced that Total War: Rome 2 has officially become the most preordered game in the series, after only one week of opening its reservations. For comparison, it has received 6 times the amount of Shogun 2 Total War in that same time period. Additionally, its special edition, which features a large set of physical items, has already sold half of its copies. Only 20,000 collector’s editions were made, each branded with their own number.
Preorders will receive the PC strategy title’s first downloadable content free of charge. This DLC adds Greek states to the game’s many factions.
