If you’ve been longing to bring your childhood memories to current consoles, then you’ll be pleased with the announcement of Hot Wheels: World’s Best Driver by Warner Bros. This racing game is due for release on just about all platforms on September 18, 2013.
Players will try to complete looping tracks filled with stunt opportunities with a set of 24 iconic Hot Wheels vehicles, which are divided into colored teams, each with their own set of skills. It’s being produced by Firebrand Games, which is mostly known for its work on Nintendo DS and 3DS, though its main work does consist of porting race games like these. For instance, its responsible for the similar Ubisoft game Trackmania DS, which also features over the top arcade driving.
Hot Wheels: World’s Best Driver will cost €39.99 on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii U, while the 3DS and PC versions will cost €29.99. Would you like a screenshot or two? You got it.
