A release date is closing in for PC platform game Dark Matter. According to publisher Iceberg Interactive, the somber title will launch on Steam in mid-October. It’s being made by Interwave Studios, who previously worked on the first-person shooter Nuclear Dawn. We’ll stay in a futuristic setting, but in a much more claustrophobic sense.
Players in Dark Matter are tasked with surviving an onslaught of strange monsters with only a gun and a flashlight in hand. Darkened corridors will hide the scum of deep space, which drives the tension, as danger lurks in all corners. We have some screenshots to show just how black this gets.
