Batman: Arkham Origins Gets Free-To-Play Game From Mortal Kombat Studio

In continuation with prior releases, Warner Bros has announced a free-to-play mobile version for Batman: Arkham Origins. Similar games were made for Injustice: Gods Among Us and Batman: Arkham City.

This mobile version will launch on iOS first, on the same day as the main release; October 25, 2013. It’s created by Netherrealm Studios, the creators of Mortal Kombat. You’ll be able to punch your way through a series of villains, such as Bane, Deathstroke and Harley Quinn. Most commands are based on timing prompts appearing on the screen. You’ll be able to unlock new characters by earning currency. We have a trailer where we also catch a glimpse of Terry McGinnis’ suit from Batman Beyond, for instance.
