If you’re an old person, you probably would like some old games to work on your newfangled computers. Well, you’re in luck, because Steam recently released the classic adventure games The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour, all at the same time. Each copy costs €8.99 or is available in a bundle for €13.99.
These games were on the forefront of using 3D modeling, back in 1993. It was pretty rad. It was so rad that we decided to use “rad” once more, in the year 2013. Moreover, they used full motion video, back when that was cool too. It’s still cool now; we’re calling it. Not unimportantly, these oddly eerie games also featured some clever puzzles.
This reemergence isn’t just timed for Halloween for no reason though. Developer Trilobyte Games is going to surprise us with a Kickstarter campaign for The 7th Guest: 3, which will serve as the end of the trilogy. We do hope they change the name though, because it just sounds silly, like some math problem.
