Manufacturer Turtle Beach has announced that it will make Titanfall gaming headsets, available around the time of its launch in March of 2014. One headset will work for the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC release.
This snazzy white appliance scrawls some futuristic markings on its headband. You’ll also find some hexes on there, because hexes are the future, except when they’re used in old strategy games.
If you, for some reason, haven’t heard about Titanfall yet, it’s the newest project from Vince Zampella and Jason West, who were at the helm of Call of Duty’s massive success. They moved on to their own development team in Respawn Entertainment.
If you like multiplayer and huge robots, this is the game for you, as matches allow players to enter giant mechs and destroy the measly foot soldiers underfoot. In turn, those pesky humans can use their dexterity to quickly run on walls and scoot around. It’s quite the frenetic experience, complete with the arcade vibes known from Call of Duty.
There’s no price point so far, but expect this officially licensed product to set you back quite a bit. Their releases for Xbox One usually go fairly upward of $100. You’ll need to pay to look pretty.
