It looks like we did enough Titanfall coverage for now, by giving you some easily overlooked tips to succeed and showing you how awesome it is. Therefore, it’s only fair if that other giant release, Dark Souls II, gets some love as well in one of our rounds of comparisons. It will give you something to go on in a simple visual illustration, if you’re not exactly sure by now how that franchise works.
Dark Souls II is like Contra with more swords. It’s not quite a bullet hell, but it sure does make advancing any inch in the game extremely tense.
Dark Souls II is the harder Resident Evil 0. Controls may take a while to learn and it’s scary as hell, but it is quite pretty in return.
Dark Souls II has the atmosphere of House of 1000 Corpses. It’s probably going to end badly and you’ll see some horrifically disturbing things before long.
Dark Souls II has the obfuscated complexity of Myst. It’s all logical to some point, but what the hell is going on is a damn mystery.
Dark Souls II is the equivalent of StarCraft II. It’s just more challenges that fans craved, but prettier and more streamlined.
As always, if you have some astute observations that can tie the game to another in a one-liner, speak up in the comments!
Hah, loved this 🙂
