With Inazuma Eleven GO: Light and Inazuma Eleven GO: Shadow, there’s a new line of titles headed towards the Nintendo 3DS in Europe on July 13, 2014. It takes place ten years after the events in Inazuma Eleven 3. Therefore, these iterations will sort of move away from the old protagonist line and introduce new characters.
There are also new Fighting Spirits in this release, which give players new moves on the pitch, because this title combines football with roleplaying game (RPG) elements. These spirits will also be obtainable through an internet and wireless connections. We received some artwork for these spirits, tied to players, so you can grasp just how manga-related this series is. We’ll put those below.
Inazuma Eleven is part of the manga culture that uses football as a theme. A popular entry there is Captain Tsubasa. We’re just throwing that out there, because it makes football look absolutely spectacular.
Here’s that artwork. We’ll throw in some screenshots too.
