While publisher Ubisoft is still hot on the hype train of Watch_Dogs or Watch Dogs or however it’s branded now, it’s using the momentum to plug The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot as well. It has infused the free-to-play castle raiding game with some trinkets themed after the hacking extravaganza game. There’s even a castle theme, complete with surveillance cameras and everything.
Players will be able to raid a special castle and stick it to “The Man” with some unique items as well. There’s a variety of neon-lighted gear, as well as equipment with logo branding and so on. For instance, you can sport a bandana like the character in Watch Dogs. We’re not doing the underscore one.
If you want to keep it more heroic, there’s also a nice cape for each character. Then, there are weapons aplenty with a Watch Dogs flair. Normally, you should be able to find Watch Dogs content from level 5 up to level 30. As a kicker, the level 30 Exceptional gear is available in the shop for a price of €9.99.
It’s great to see more support for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, because it honestly is extremely entertaining and currently running way below the radar for an Ubisoft release. You can assault castles, build traps, stage defenses and collect tons of cool gear, meanwhile competing in a community trying to do the same thing. It’s quite lively as an isometric roleplaying game and it’s free. It’s Ubisoft and it’s doing a free-to-play model completely right; this should be bigger news.
