Everyone is holding some sort holiday related sale this week, so it’s going to get hard to choose. One with some of the biggest Steam keys included could well be the Square Enix Halloween sale. Its main selling point for this event is the Halloween Triple Treat Pack. It offers three of the publisher’s most recent titles for a low, combined price. We’ll list these Steam games below:
- Tomb Raider Game of the Year
- Murdered: Soul Suspect
- Thief (2014)
If you don’t own any of these yet, aside from being obligated to rectify that straight away, you only need to pay €18.99, which is a tad more than €6 per game. For three blockbuster releases, that’s not too pricey. It is sad, still, that Square Enix keeps dumping Thief any way it can. It’s also possible to buy the reboot of the stealth title separately at a %75 discount. We’ve discussed the immediate cuts to the game many times now. I think we can finally come to terms that, indeed, the game did bomb and it hasn’t been on full price mode since just days past its own release date. What a travesty, really.
Anyway, there are some other neat titles you can acquire in the sale, such as Deus Ex: The Fall, Hitman Absolution or even Final Fantasy VII and VIII. A thing we also noticed is that these recurring Square sales never include Final Fantasy XIV, despite its second launch has been some time ago. It seems like its new found success is keeping that price nice and high. Good for them.
If you have a bundle of cash hanging around, there’s also the Eidos Anthology set for €54.99. That huge pack will get you 34 Square Enix games, as well as downloadable content (DLC) releases.
